Today is the start of a series of shots that I had taken in Hanoi. To kick off, here's a picture of the very famous Halong Bay. Although it is a World Heritage site, there are just too many boats on the bay, about 500, it is congested and seemed to be rather polluted. A pity as I can imagine its' former beauty.

Yes, still beautiful despite the many boats. The beautiful rocks remind me a lot of Palawan, El Nido in the Philippines - the trip that made me fal in love with Asia. But there you have posh resorts rather than small boats. Don't know which is best....
