LOTUS IN FULL BLOOM

I was holidaying in Phuket, Thailand, a year after the tsunami and was touched by how the Thai people have rebuilt their lives and homes. I took this shot of a lotus flower in full bloom and felt it epitomises the beauty of their homeland.
